As part of our commitment to Health & Safety excellence and innovation, we have developed our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program based on our extensive project experience, which compliments and exceeds local legislative and regulatory requirements. Kenaidan is committed to keeping practical and effective measures in place to protect the health and safety of all workplace parties. Our policy promotes this commitment through active participation of our organization from the top down, engaging each and every level to a committed goal of zero injury.
Safety is an integral part of Kenaidan’s construction processes and at the foundation of our Core Values. Our organization recognizes the importance of employee empowerment programs to engage all employees in providing a safe environment to work in. Our team has created, endorsed, and supported Kenaidan’s Care Enough to Act (CETA) program for over 10 years. The CETA program instills in workers the freedom and discipline to observe and evaluate their peers’ behaviours and to encourage others to modify unsafe behaviours. This further enhances Kenaidan’s health and safety culture as it engages our employees and their participation as a component to the success of our health and safety performance.
Our biggest asset is our people, and their wellbeing is our focus. Kenaidan Strong embodies our commitment to our team’s wellness; encouraging development through annual initiatives and events, corporate benefits, training, and communication. All aimed at developing our team’s wellbeing under the program’s five pillars of wellness: Physical, Mental, Social, Community & Financial.
