South Fork Water Treatment Plant

Located in Nanaimo, Bristish Columbia, this project comprised the construction of a new 120 ML/d water treatment plant for the City of Nanaimo, and ancillary facilities including a 7.5 ML reinforced concrete clearwell, valve/chamber and pump station.

Work generally included site civil and roadwork, interconnecting pipe lines and yard piping, structural, architectural, landscaping, process mechanical, building mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls for all facilities related to this South Fork Water Treatment Plant. The water treatment included raw water screening, coagulation/flocculation, two stage GE siphon membrane system and chemical feed systems.
